Joi Olympia writes and records all of her own music at her home-studio in Brooklyn. She plays every instrument on the tracks you hear (guitar, bass, violin, tambourine, drums, bongos, washboard, back-up vocals, and sometimes rice in a bowl). Currently, she is writing a cohesive song cycle based on the artist's who lived and worked at the Chelsea Hotel.
